FAQ

“All appears to change when we change.”

Henri Amiel, 19th-century Swiss writer

WHAT IS HYPNOSIS?
Hypnosis is a deeply relaxed state, by which suggestions bypass the conscious mind (critical factor) and go directly to the inner conscious mind for acceptance.

HOW WILL I FEEL IN HYPNOSIS?
You will feel deeply relaxed and free---many people feel a lightness or heaviness, most feel a comfortable detachment from life's difficulties.

WILL I LOSE CONTROL IN HYPNOSIS?
Since Hypnosis is a “consent” state, you are always in control.

WHAT IF I DON'T WAKE UP IN HYPNOSIS?
Since Hypnosis is not sleep, there is no problem.

IN HYPNOSIS WILL I DO OR SAY ANYTHING AGAINST MY WILL?
You have total control in hypnosis---always knowing what to say and do.

WILL I REMEMBER EVERYTHING SAID DURING THE SESSION?
The majority of people have total recall---a few have partial recall.

DO I HAVE TO GO DEEP INTO HYPNOSIS TO ACHIEVE SUCCESS?
No. Excellent success can be achieved in a light or medium trance (depth of trance has nothing to do with success rate).

HOW DOES THE HYPNOTHERAPIST ACCOMPLISH THE CHANGE?
The hypnotherapist acts as a guide, working together with the client to make the desired changes.

HOW LONG WILL HYPNOSIS LAST?
The effects of Hypnosis can last a lifetime---to ensure your success, follow the direction and techniques of your hypnotherapist and play your reinforcement tapes.
